Summary

Image Workshop consists only of static files. The images you choose never leave your device: they are read, edited and saved again in your browser. The website sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics, loads no external services, fonts or CDNsand contains no forms that send data. There are no user accounts and no database.

Server log data

When you open this website, the web server automatically logs technical access data:

• IP address and the date and time of access
• requested URL, HTTP method and status code
• referrer URL, browser type and operating system

Purpose: keeping the service running, troubleshooting and defending against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).
Retention: usually no longer than 30 days.

This data contains no images and no information about your images, is not combined with other data sources and is not used to identify individuals.

Hosting

The website is run by a hosting provider within the European Union. The provider processes the log data above as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

Fonts and external content

All fonts and the image processing modules (WebAssembly) are served from this server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other content delivery network. External links are only opened when you click them; from then on the privacy policy of that provider applies.

Processing in your browser

Images you choose are processed only locally, in your browser's memory. Cropping, rotating, resizing and converting run on your device, and metadata such as EXIF details and GPS location is removed from the files it produces. Downloaded files are created in your browser and saved on your device. If you use AI enlarging, the model file it needs is downloaded from this website and runs on your device as well; no image data is sent anywhere. The same applies to text recognition in the image-to-PDF tool: the software and language file it needs are downloaded from this website and also run only on your device.

Images are not stored: closing or reloading the page removes them from the app. If you switch on dark mode, only that setting (theme) is kept in your browser's localStorage so it is still there on the next page. This is not a cookie: the value is never sent to the server and is deleted when you switch back to light mode. You can also remove it at any time in your browser settings.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Please use the email address above. Because your images are only processed in your browser, we have no access to them.
